Perhaps you’ve noticed how much we love film adaptations of classic books. They can win over reluctant readers and provide many wonderful hours of additional enjoyment when the family decides to sit down and read a favourite after watching it on the screen.

For over 100 years now, The Secret Garden has found a special place in people’s hearts. In the tale, Mary Lennox's is sent to live with her uncle, Archibald Craven, on his remote country estate deep in the Yorkshire moors after her parents’ death. A hidden magical garden is just one of the things she discovers during her explorations of his estate.

This new take on the beloved book written by Frances Hodgson Burnett stars Colin Firth, Julie Walters and Dixie Egerickx. Be sure to check out the trailer below!
