Science & Technology Tutoring for Elementary Students

This includes primary, middle, and intermediate grades, covering grade 1 to 8 Science and Technology.

Elementary students benefit from engaging and inquiry-based activities to support knowledge, concepts and skills covered at school from the Ontario Curriculum. This includes STEM skills and connections, life systems, matter and energy, structures and mechanisms, emerging technologies, Earth and space systems. 

Students often require additional support developing skills in critical thinking, experimenting, as well as selecting overall tools and strategies to succeed in their Science and Technology studies. 

Science Tutoring for High School Students

This includes intermediate and senior levels from grade 9 to 12 in Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth and Space Science, and Environmental Science.

Teachers on Call also provides support to students in specialized secondary programs for International Baccalaureate (IB), Advanced Placement (AP), and Math, Science and Technology (ESTe2M, HMST, I-STEM, MaST, MaCS, MST, SATEC, Sci-Tech, STEAM, STEM+, SMR, TOPS). 

High school students benefit from additional support to understand concepts and principles covered in class to complete homework, lab report assignments, as well as prepare for tests and exams.

Our tutors work with students to develop the necessary knowledge and skills to ensure they understand and comprehend the course content while using creative thinking, inquiry and research skills with the ability to communicate and apply what they are learning to real-world situations.
